Photographe de formation, je travaille actuellement à temps partiel comme motion designer et conceptrice multimédia dans le domaine du e-learning. L'autre partie de mon temps, je suis illustratrice et motion designer freelance, et je développe constamment mon activité artistique, que ce soit pour des tableaux destinés à être exposés ou des animations vidéo.
Née à Lausanne en 1969, j'ai vécu à Nyon, Zurich, Hambourg et New York. Je vis actuellement à Genève.
Mon intérêt pour la photographie a débuté lorsque j’avais environ 10 ans. Très vite, les divers processus de modifications de l’image comme le coloriage, le collage et les virages en laboratoire m’ont attirée. Plus tard, j’ai découvert l’outil Photoshop qui intègre ces processus et c’est ainsi que j’ai commencé en 2003 à réaliser des collages numériques.
Obsédée par les rêves, les mondes surréalistes et insolites, je m’empare de formes provenant des mes propres travaux photographiques ou d’images que je modifie et mixe. Je fais évoluer mes univers oniriques de femmes-animaux ainsi que mes espaces et natures imaginaires.
Mes œuvres sont principalement représentées sous forme de tableaux (tirages photographiques). Mais afin de donner vie à mes créations j’ai réalisé deux vidéo-clips pour le musicien Tim Foljahn en 2012 et 2014. Je cherche également à donner une nouvelle dimension à mes collages en créant des objets, comme des lampes montées dans des tambours de batterie dont la peau translucide est ornée de mes images.
Avec ma démarche artistique, je cherche à mettre en images nos rêves et nos cauchemars, l’irréel et le surréel, le mystique et les affres de notre inconscient. Je cherche à représenter tout ce qui sommeille au plus profond de nous-même à l’aide de symboles, parfois en utilisant des images de cultures ancestrales.
Photographie-collage, je cherche à ajouter quelques notes à la définition de la photographie du 21ième siècle, ainsi qu’à célébrer, sous une forme plus moderne, la continuité des mouvements artistiques surréalistes et dadaïstes.

I learned the profession of photographer, but I currently work part-time as a motion designer and multimedia designer in the field of e-learning. The other part of my time, I am a freelance illustrator uand motion designer, and I constantly develop my artistic activity, whether for collage to be exhibited or video animations.
Born in 1969 in Lausanne, I lived in Nyon, Zurich, Hamburg and New York. Based in Geneva since 2003.Learned the profession of photography in the domains of fashion, industrial / commercial and advertising.
My interest in photography started around the age of 10. Very quickly I understood the multiple processes involved for modifying pictures such as colouring techniques, collage and subsequently I was attracted to photo laboratory work. Later on I discovered ‘Photoshop’ which became an important tool for me towards the process of digital type collage techniques, this occurred in 2003 and was to mark the beginning of my digital collage designs.
Obsessed with dreams, surrealist worlds and the unusual, I capture images coming from my own personal photos and images that I modify and mix. I create a dream like universe of women/men animals in imaginary and natural surroundings.
Most of my artwork is represented in varying degrees of formats (photographic prints). Also, some of the artworks have been put into ‘animated’ forms, I realised 2 animated musical clips for the musician Tim Foljahn in 2012 and 2014. I am also looking at giving new dimensions to my collages by using objects as a support such as lamps built inside drum shells of which the heads are translucent layers adorned with my collage images.
Using my artistic approach, I try to put in evidence dreams and nightmares, the real and the surreal, the mystical and the torments of the consciousness. The idea is to represent what lies inside our inner depth and psyche by using symbols, sometimes by using ancestral culture images also.
With photography and collage, I try to add some statement with respect to the definition of photography in the 21rst century, hence to celebrate under a modern variant, the continuity of artistic expression and Dadaism.
